Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use historyinminutes.shop and when you buy the eBook The Entire History of the World (the "eBook"). The site and the eBook are provided by Mahammad Layicov, Azerbaijan, trading as History in Minutes ("we", "us"). By buying the eBook you agree to these terms.

Who sells the eBook

Orders are processed by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments, who also handles payment-related questions, refunds and returns. When you check out, you also agree to the Dodo Payments Buyer Terms. Your payment is made to Dodo Payments, which also calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT and issues your receipt or invoice. We are responsible for the eBook itself and its content.

Price and payment

The eBook costs $9.99 (US dollars). With the audiobook added at checkout, the total is $13.99. Prices are shown on the site before you buy and again at checkout. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription. Taxes such as VAT or sales tax may be added at checkout depending on where you live. Dodo Payments takes the payment; we never see or store your card details.

Delivery

The eBook comes as digital files in PDF and EPUB format. If you add the audiobook, you also receive it as an MP3 file (about 3 hours). After your payment goes through, you'll receive download links at the email address you gave at checkout. If the link doesn't arrive, email hello@historyinminutes.shop and we'll send it again.

Your licence to use the eBook

When you buy the eBook, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to download, read, listen to and print it (PDF, EPUB and, if purchased, the MP3 audiobook) for your own non-commercial use, on as many of your own devices as you like. You may not resell, share publicly, upload, or distribute the files or their contents, or remove any copyright notices. The text and cover remain the property of History in Minutes.

Refunds

If you're not happy with the eBook, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

About the content

The eBook is a short overview of world history, written for general readers. It simplifies a very large subject. We work hard to get the facts right, but we can't promise it is free of errors, and it isn't a substitute for academic sources. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we'll look at fixing it in a future edition.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to the eBook is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the one shown on this page when you bought the eBook.
